Our Habitats

A unique and rugged landscape

Cragsmoor sits on the Shawangunk Ridge — 420-million-year-old quartzite caprock forming tilted slabs, cliffs, and talus fields across 50 miles. Home to fisher, bobcat, spotted turtle, and barred owl in one of the Northeast's most significant biodiversity corridors.
