Where Your Membership Goes

100% of your membership supports the conservation and protection of open space in Cragsmoor and its environs. Since our founding, we've protected 55 acres of forests and wildlife habitat on the Shawangunk Ridge — including the 37-acre Muller Conservation Easement, donated in 2011 after 50+ years of private stewardship.

The Land Trust pays property taxes on the parcels that we own, and your support will also fund trail maintenance, invasive species removal, road clean-up programs, conservation education, and our partnership with Open Space Institute to protect the 50-mile Shawangunk Ridge corridor — designated by NYS DEC as a Significant Biodiversity Area.
